The French Crepe Co.

One of my favorite places in L.A. is the Farmer's Market at The Grove. That area has some of the best food, one of those is The French Crepe Co. So naturally as soon as Sarah and I walked out of The Highlands after our cooking class we both wanted to have at least one crepe (we ended up having two). They are located right across from The Highlands and Nokia theater.
Their crepe is definitely better than Cafe Crepe at 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica.

La Marie Antoinette: mozzarella, avocado, ham and spinach w/ salad

La Napoleon: nutella, strawberries and banana

topped with powder sugar and whip cream - just the way we like it

Sarah and I spent our Friday night taking a cooking class at The Highlands. We both had a great time learning and eating at the same time. To be honest, all I expected from the class was eating whatever we were going to make, but i ended up learning quite a lot.
Chef Chris was an awesome teacher and very laid back. There were 3 other pairs in the class with us which made the whole experience a little bit more intimate. The view from the 4th floor terrace is definitely not too shabby.

The pairing of Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi and design impresario Philippe Starck is this famous Hollywood hangout. There are four locations in the L.A. area alone. We decided to go to the one located on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, just steps away from the walk of fame. Everything was splendid, there was nothing we didn't like. I would definitely go back just for the crispy rice with spicy tuna dish.

this dude was doing mad prep work the whole time we were there. hustle booboo

edamame to start
