La Taverne De La Huchette

13 Rue de la Huchette
Paris 75005

After spending the day biking for 4 hours around Paris. then walking for what seemed like forever to see Notre Dame, we ended up at the Saint-Michel area.
I'm not entirely sure how it all happened but as we were walking I told T "let's go right"
We ended up at a really busy main street full of restaurants and bars
T randomly said "i wonder if they have fondue" and the guy standing in front of the restaurant dragged us in while telling us that they did in fact have fondue
We didn't even end up having fondue, but he did give us the aperitif for free

we ordered the plateau royal: 2 crabs, 1 lobster, 12 oysters, 12 mussels, 6 prawns and 6 norway lobsters. YES, we ate everything

decided to get a bottle of white to compliment the seafood

aperitif.....no clue what it was, but it was delicious

dude prepping our tray

T made a new friend

double fisting

bottom part of the tower of terror

the upper level

we killed that tower

celebratory smile for a job well done

my new friend

digestif.....martini blanc and rouge

we went hard. after our jules verne tab, nothing shocked me anymore

We loved this place so much we came back the next day for dinner.
The food was great, but I think what made the experience even better was the staff. They were all so nice and entertaining they made me want to stay longer
