Restaurante Tasbaya (La Ceiba, Honduras)

Located inside Quinta Real hotel in Zona Viva (La Ceiba)

This is what happens when you walk aimlessly in the scorching heat. You end up walking into the first restaurant you see without looking around and only realize when you look at the menu that you're at the fanciest place in town. hell they even charged non-guests a fee if they wanted to use the pool. granted the food was amazing, but damn it cost an arm and a leg

ceviche. they make it with so much lemon it's almost offensive to the palate

the view from our hut

passion fruit juice

fried tortilla. we had to ask them to fry tortillas because i'm not down with crackers

calamari with veggies and mashed potato

mar y tierra. my sister's favorite. fish and meat with veggies and mashed potato

tres leches. they didn't have flan available

Hi Julie,
I, too, am a fan of food. I have many pics from Ecuador. Hope you are having fun. I've never been to Honduras and you are making my mouth water for a trip there!
