The first time I tried Roscoe's was the night I landed in LAX coming home from NYC
Sarah had never been in her life so we decided to go after the Katy Perry concert
You would never think it, but the chicken and waffle combo is delicious. Or maybe Roscoe's is just that good







#1 for Sarah and #2 for me. I had the 1 on my first visit




this was the best shot because we were starving and dove in like vultures. I didn't even get a shot of her plate



that is the face of someone who hit their wall but feels compelled to keep on going

Finally got to try TLC.
As it's name suggests, The Local Cafe focuses on seasonal, mostly organic, and local produce.
The owner of TLC (Tim Kilcoyne) also owns and is the executive chef of Sidecar restaurant just a few blocks from TLC. He also happens to be my friend's fiance. Dude is winning.
What a great first visit. The service was great (i'd like to think it wasn't just because they knew us) and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I'm not even being bias. We actually stayed longer than usual because i wanted to finish what I ordered
I'm definitely trying a pizza on my next visit. I'm excited to see how different it'll taste since they use a wood fire oven

I wanted to try a new place for dinner and since i've heard a ton of great things about Du-par's I convinced Calli to try it with me. So glad I finally went to this place. You definitely get a ton for your buck







decided to try this deal. I didn't think there would be SO much food



house salad was good, but 1. there was 2 much cheese and 2. it had beets (not a huge fan)

My friends and I decided to go on a dinner & movie date at the Arclight in Sherman Oaks since we all wanted to see Like Crazy. Lo and I met up at the Galleria a couple hours before dinner and decided to have happy hour at El Torito. We originally planned on having sushi until we passed by the place and changed our minds (it didn't look inviting). So P.F. Chang's it was.....the last time i went was 4 years ago in Vegas

Mine. Doube Pan Fried Noodles: crisp egg noodles stir fried with mushrooms, bok choy, carrots, celery and onions with vegetables.


Everything was great, down to the service. None of us ate meat. Tevaundra is vegetarian and I cut off meat from my diet.

Pho Saigon

I'm leaving for Europe in about five weeks and since it's going to be winter when I get there, I thought it in my best interest to diet and lose a few lbs before the trip.
For the past two weeks I've been craving pho like a pregnant lady so I decided to treat myself.
Man......it was worth it
Now back to the diet............
